The opportunity to comercially purchase an XO laptop is coming back in November through Amazon. The machines will dual boot between Sugar and Windows XP. I would prefer that Microsoft kept its grubby hands off, but maybe it will add to the usefulness of the platform. Or it will just add bloat.
XFCE on OLPC →
XFCE is a light-weight user environment that you can install on the XO. This hack will change a bunch of the defaults in Sugar, including wifi set-up.
